Multi Day Tours

On our 21st year of operating SV Tuan for our popular Sail with the Whales tours we have decided to dig up our roots so to speak and once again offer a unique wilderness based multi day tour package during the weeks before and after our regular summer whale watch season. Space and availability on this all inclusive tour will be limited but the wildlife and range of activities won't be as the late spring and early autumn are often perfect times to sail, fish, watch Humpback and Killer whales, Dolphins, Porpoises, and Seabirds, hike uninhabited islands, and explore remote coastal waterways. The choice of exactly what to do will be all yours.

The Vessel

SV Tuan was launched in 1979 and has been maintained to original specifications. She is cutter rigged and her design is a Seasmoke. Over the years she has proven herself over and over again as a safe, seaworthy, and comfortable passenger sailing vessel. She has generous deck space and is outfitted inside and out with a mixture of well kept hardwood ranging from Honduras Mahogany to New Zealand Rimu. The cabin has a complete galley, spacious salon, sleeping quarters for 5 and a small head.

Tour Specifics

SV Tuan can be reserved for anywhere between 3 and 7 days. Included on all tours you will find healthy international cuisine, including local seafood and organic produce, and an experienced and professional captain and crew. Tour season is limited between May 15 - June 15 and from September 15 - October 1. Maximum guest compliment aboard the Tuan is 14 but for our multi day tours we have set the limit at 5 to ensure comfort.
